The Short Version
One brand, one price, under four weeks.
The price is fixed for one brand. You get it on the first call, we agree it before we start, and it doesn't move when the work gets going. We never bill by the hour, so extra rounds of feedback or a longer call never show up on an invoice.
It covers anything under the brand umbrella: the thinking, the identity, the website and the motion. The two people on your first call are the two people doing the work. If you want to see how this compares with other prices on the market, read how much branding costs.
What Counts As One Brand
If it has its own name, it is its own brand.
One brand means one company or one product with its own name. Your company, its website, its templates and its motion all sit under that one name, so they are all covered by the one price.
A sub-brand with its own name is a second brand. It needs its own identity and its own rules for how it relates to the parent, which is real work, so it is priced as a brand of its own. If you are unsure where your line falls, we settle it on the first call, before any number is agreed.
Inside The Four Weeks
Each week ends with something you can see.
The work runs in four weeks, and each one has a clear output. Nothing is held back for a big reveal at the end.
You see the work at the end of every week and make the call on what happens next, so the handover holds no surprises.
- Week 1, strategy: kickoff, competitor audit and a positioning workshop. You leave with your positioning and messaging written down.
- Week 2, identity: three real directions, not one good option and two decoys. You pick one and we refine it.
- Week 3, system and website: guidelines, the asset library, templates, and the website designed and built.
- Week 4, launch: the brand in motion, the site live on your domain, and the handover of every source file.
What Counts As An Add-On
Outside the brand, small, and priced first.
The test is simple. If a piece of work sits under the brand umbrella, it is in the price. If it sits outside the brand, it is an add-on.
Add-ons are small and priced before we start, so you see the total before you commit. Nothing gets added halfway through without a number you have already agreed to.
What It Doesn't Include
A few things live outside the price.
Being clear about the edges saves arguments later. These are the things the price does not cover.
The most common one is product design. App screens, user flows and dashboards are a different kind of work from a brand, so they sit under product design, priced on their own.
- A second named brand or sub-brand. That is a brand of its own.
- Product design, such as app screens, user flows or a management portal.
- Ongoing monthly work after launch. The price covers one project with an end date, not a retainer.
- Legal work such as trademark searches and filings, which belong with a trademark lawyer.
Payment And Ownership
You own everything once it is paid for.
At the end of week four you receive every source file, not just exports. Full rights transfer to you once the final payment is made, so the brand is yours to use, change or hand to a future in-house team.
If you want to check what your project includes and what it costs, book a call. We will tell you on that call if it does, if something is an add-on, or if we are the wrong fit.
Our take
A Berryn brand is for companies that need a whole brand, not a logo. If you need positioning, identity, a live website and motion, all done by the same two people in under four weeks, it is good value. If you only need a logo, or small tweaks to an identity you already like, it is more than you need, and we will say so.
FAQ
Questions people ask
How much does a Berryn brand cost?
Our minimum commitment starts at $4,000 USD. The exact price depends on the scope, and you get it on the first call, before anything starts. Everything under the brand umbrella is in it, and any add-on is priced up front.
Is the website really included in the price?
Yes. The website is designed, built and live on your domain within the four weeks. It is built no-code by default, or in code when the site needs it.
What happens if I want a sub-brand?
A sub-brand with its own name counts as a second brand, because it needs its own identity and rules. We agree that before we start, so there are no surprises.
Do you charge by the hour for extra changes?
No. Berryn never bills by the hour. The price is fixed before we start, and any add-on outside the brand is priced up front.
Who owns the files at the end?
You do. We hand over every source file and full rights, which transfer to you once the final payment is made.
How many logo directions do I see?
Three real directions in week two. You pick one and we refine it into the full logo, type and colour system.
